My job requires the use of a Facebook Business Fan Page. So far, everything has been going well with it. Unfortunately, one of the wonderful things about Facebook pages are their usernames. As a Page, we should be able to set a username in order for our link to read something like: www.facebook.com/reitzunion. I can access the page that allows me to edit the username, however it will not complete the loading to make the username official. I have attempted this process on over 6 different computers, using different browsers, different possible usernames, at different times of the day. Nothing seems to work. When asking for assistance from Facebook, I receive a short and completely noninformative email telling me to read the rules. I have done this with no success. We have the minimum number of fans, and no clue as to why this is not working.
Do you have any advice?
